XSupreme

The X-Supreme8000 performs with the latest Oxford Instruments’ powerful Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and high reliability OXFORD X-ray tube technologies guarantee precise multi-element analysis at concentrations from high percentage down to ppm levels of detection, covering elements Na11 to U92 in the periodic table with the addition of a 10 position sample carousel for unattended operation, and an integrated PC for storage of results. Simultaneous single or multi-element analysis with ‘Live Updates’ – results obtained 5 seconds after measurement starts, allowing a rapid assessment to be made. Results obtained using empirical calibrations for highest accuracy and traceability. The sample is either measured “as-received” e.g. measuring Fe in Silica Sand, or a simple grind and pressing technique produces a flat disc for multi-element analysis.
